Background.

I'm a self-taught painter living in West Sussex. While completing a Masters in Automotive Engineering at Loughborough University, I discovered a passion for oil painting. I create paintings  principally using palette knives, my hands and the occasional use of a brush. The coastal scenes greatly influence my work, incorporating texture and add local elements to add depth. I'm captivated by the mesmeric beauty of seascapes and landscapes, especially the kaleidoscopic skies of sunrises and sunsets.

My contemporary style features vibrant colours, bold structures and abstract elements, inviting viewers to shape their own landscapes in their imagination. Each piece is open to interpretation, sparking discussions and creative communication. My art expresses nature's raw beauty, showcasing its powerful energy and vivid forms. I enjoy working on different surfaces for example; driftwood, ceramic tiles, reclaimed wood, canvas and hardboard. My artistic journey is a constant evolution of endless experimentation with various concepts, materials and paint. My work is showcased in several local establishments across West Sussex.
